Regulations in Turkey

● When the biodiesel is produced from domestic crops gets blended with fuel (it is allowed up to 2% of the total volume), the added amount’s consumption tax value is zero.
● Biodiesel fuel is exempted from consumption tax.
● Biodiesel manufacturers are obligated to apply TS-EN 14214 quality standards (in-line with EU).

Company Overview

● Founded at the end of 2005 as a partnership between Infinity Invest Holding A.Ş. and İzmir’s Borovalı family, tobacco producers since three generations.
● The major motive behind the partnership between the two groups is based on the sole expertise of each partner on its own field of activity. The combination of Delta Oil’s years-long operations in the international oil market and Borovalı family’s decades-long involvement in "contracted tobacco cultivation" in the Aegean region played a crucial role in the execution of the project.
● DB Tarimsal undertakes contracted canola and safflower cultivation in various regions in a total area that amounts to more than 30.000.000 square meters (7500 acres).
● Main customers are Total, Alpet, Lukoil, TP, Akpet, Best, Kadoil and now Shell.
● Expected to grow to 50% of retail outlets in Turkey in 2015.
